The One with All the Recipes: An Unofficial Cookbook for Fans of Friends by Teresa Finney
The One with All the Recipes: An Unofficial Cookbook for Fans of Friends by Teresa Finney is I have so many great things to say about this book. First of all, it's FRIENDS themed! Obviously, for copyright reasons, it doesn't have pictures of the cast or anything. But the color scheme is on point and the text references are plenty for me to feel like I'm having a connection with the show.Second, the recipes themselves have fewer than ten ingredients each. I can't tell you how frustrating it is to buy a recipe book and then realize that every recipe requires seven things from the store you don't have, two of which you've never heard of. The utility of this book is in the explanations of how to cook simple recipes well. It's mostly American cuisine-- comforting food that's still much healthier than you'll find in a restaurant. But they're all fairly foolproof and seem easy to cook and even easier to enjoy.
The One with All the Recipes: An Unofficial Cookbook for Fans of Friends by Teresa Finney is I recently started watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S. with my son (he is obsessed with Phoebe and has started dressing like her). When I found this book I was delighted. We love to cook together, and since reading this book all we cook is F.R.I.E.N.D.S recipes. I have posted the photo for the âEngagement Ring Lasagnaâ which is our current favorite, but we are equally looking forward to trying the Christmas caramel candies and fabulous flan.Highly recommend! Especially if you have a very creative child who loves F.R.I.E.N.D.S â" these recipes are simple enough for children to follow with a little supervision. My son cooks me dinner more often than not these days.
The One with All the Recipes: An Unofficial Cookbook for Fans of Friends by Teresa Finney is Whoever thought of this is amazing!! For anyone who is a friends fan and is also a fan of good food, I highly recommend this cook book. I mean the intro spoke to my soul. Literally the first line talking about a woman in her mid 30's tv from the 90's tends to evoke feelings of nostalgia - yes godess, yes. Although I'm in my early 30;s it still hit home. SO many episodes of friends revolved around food, mainly because Monica was a chef but also because that is real life. ALL of our social events involve food, even going to book club guarantees at the very least a cheese and meat platter with wine. So this book is the perfect combination for anyone who loves food and feeling nostalgia about friends. Don't worry though, it's not overally indulgent with FRIENDS references, although, that could drag it down. It doesnt. Love the big beautiful photos with clear crisp recipes right next to it. ALL cook books should include beautiful imagery like this one. Love the way the book is organized - it's clean and concise. Easy to skip around and find exactly what you're looking for. There's something for every occasion! ENJOY !
The One with All the Recipes: An Unofficial Cookbook for Fans of Friends by Teresa Finney is My college roommates are all super obsessed with FRIENDS - it was always on the TV when you got home at night and it provided a nice background to our own "FRIENDS" - like existence. This cookbook was a perfect gift for them - each recipe is easy-to-follow and tasty, the photos are nice and appetizing, and there's a tidbit referencing the recipe's appearance on the show for each of them. I like that the cookbook is divided into sections by meal (Appetizers/Salads/Sides, Brunch/Lunch, Dinner, Desserts, Drinks) and we're excited to dive into the drinks section at our next roommates' reunion!
